Traceable Calibration of Optical Light Meters
 Precision Labs can quickly and expertly
calibrate your light meter back to the original manufacturer’s specification. Due to
the rapid growth of the internet and equipment sales, we can no longer list the hundreds
of types of light meters that we can service.
If you have a light meter that reads that reads for illuminance or luminance , we can
calibrate them. Both are listed on this page for the purposes of ease of finding us.
The most common type of light meter we encounter are “light meters” that read
out in foot candles and Lux. Almost any type of these meters are well within our
capabilities.
These common types tend to drift substantially over time and require constant adjustment
to meet the original specifications.
We will use a 2856K light source during the calibration. The source is precisely
controlled so that we can easily adjust your meter back into top shape.
